Here is a list of blog directories you should submit your blog to.  They are added more or less in the order in which they appear in Google’s search results. 

June 1st, 2007: Blog Catalog

Blog Catalog is #1 in Google.com’s search results for blog directory.  Submission is quick and simple.  Generally the process takes no longer than 24 hours. However depending upon the circumstances it can take up to 48 hours.  They do require a reciprocal link for inclusion in their directory.

June 1st, 2007: Blog Hub

Blog Hub is #2 in Google’s search results today. Blog Hub is an online directory and community where members from around the world gather here and exchange ideas. If you run a blog site, you can add your site to the blog directory, search the blogger directory for blog resources or join in at the online Blogger forum.

June 2nd, 2007:  Blog Flux Directory

Blog Flux Directory was in the #3 position on Google today.  They feature 80,192 blogs today.  They have a blog directory, blog tools, forums, their own blog and much more.  Before you submit your blog, be sure to read their Blog Definition.  To add your blog, simply go to their home page, register, then visit the blog directory page.  The Add a Site link is at the top of the page.

June 3rd, 2007: Technorati.com

Technorati.com was in the #9 position in the Google search results for blog directory today.  When you register for free with them, you can claim your blog so it is included in Technorati’s index.   From there on out they will check your blog for new posts and publish them on Technorati.  They also have a blog favorites list you can maintain, where you can add your favorite blogs for quick and easy access to them.  When your blog comes up in Technorati searches, Technorati members can add your blog to their favorites list too.
